I have fond and vivid memories of the time I was playing sax in north east bands, even though half a century has gone by since those days. My musical tastes have changed over the years but I’m still actively involved in the music scene and still enjoy playing soul music from the sixties and seventies. Recently it’s been with a Northern Soul band based in the South West and a ‘Stax’-styled soul band.
